Good feedback gets missed.
People ask questions in public. Teams need time to respond. These studies explain the problem that inspired UmmahSignal.

UmmahSignal brings scattered public conversations into the bugs, complaints, questions, ideas and praise your team can act on. These illustrated public posts show the workflow, not a live feed.
Invite-only early access — illustrated examples, not captured mentions.
The booking confirmation never arrived
A public post says the workshop booking succeeds, but the confirmation email is missing.
Long wait at the advice desk
Someone describes a long queue and asks whether drop-in times have changed.
Two different opening times
A post says the website and door notice disagree. A person needs to check the facts before calling it misinformation.
An offline mode for the commute
A reader asks for offline access to the app on the train. Save the request for product research.
A thoughtful thank-you to the volunteers
A public post praises the team for answering questions after a workshop. Ask permission before any reuse.
A question beneath the community update
A matching top-level comment is ready to read at its source. No AI category, sentiment or derived priority is assigned.
A local service question
Illustrates review of a matching subreddit post. Automated collection requires written commercial approval.

We pull in public mentions.
X and YouTube are collecting public mentions in our invited beta. Add your terms to see original posts, videos and top-level comments in one inbox. Scans run daily and duplicate mentions are kept out.
Review the signal, skip the noise.
Where permitted, X AI triage helps organise bugs, complaints, ideas and praise. YouTube and Reddit stay in manual review. A person checks the original context.
Act when it matters.
Reply on the source, investigate a bug, assign a question or bookmark permitted praise. Keep notes and review status together. You stay in control of the response.

X and YouTube, live in our invited beta.
Scheduled collection is live in activated workspaces. YouTube currently supports inbox review only. Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook are coming soon.
X
Official recent search for public posts matching configured terms. No private messages, protected content or account inference. Collection depends on configured access, credits and workspace status.
YouTube
Official public videos, titles and comments where provider access permits. Exact-match and manual review during beta; no private channel data. Collection depends on verified access and available quota.
Automated discovery of configured public communities only after written commercial API approval. Engagement stays manual. Automatically discovered items are labelled separately from manually added ones. Coverage is incomplete until that approval exists; production AI needs a further policy review.
Authorised organisation Page management only. We process Page posts, comments and mentions where rights permit. Activity stays in a separate private Page-review queue. No unrestricted keyword search, sales workflows, AI or exports.
Facebook Pages
Don’t miss customer questions and feedback across your social accounts. Connect an authorised Page to review supported comments on its content in your shared inbox. Meta approval and a verified account connection are required.
Planned coverage includes comments on connected professional-account media and supported @mentions, through your linked Facebook Page. Stories, private-account mentions, direct messages and publishing are outside this release.
One workspace. From first mention to accountable action.

“Could someone clarify whether applications are open to families outside the borough?”
An eligibility enquiry needs a clear answer after the programme criteria are checked.
Your agent helps with the inbox. You decide what matters.
We’re preparing scoped API, webhook and MCP access for your team’s tools. The current invited beta focuses on a working X and YouTube inbox; developer access is not enabled for beta workspaces yet.
Developer access will require an eligible workspace and verified client connection. YouTube and LinkedIn content stays out of external agent and distribution paths. Reddit AI remains disabled without separate approval.

What does UmmahSignal monitor?
Public X posts and YouTube videos and top-level comments matching your configured terms. Reddit covers configured subreddits after commercial approval. LinkedIn is authorised Page management in a separate private queue, not general keyword search. Availability is verified per workspace.
Do people need to tag my account?
No. Keyword monitoring can find supported public conversations that mention your product, brand, campaign or category without tagging you. LinkedIn remains limited to authorised Page activity.
Can I choose my own categories?
You can configure categories for eligible workflows. X can use AI triage where permitted. YouTube is not assigned derived categories or sentiment, Reddit AI stays disabled without separate approval, and LinkedIn stays outside AI processing.
What counts as a mention?
A supported public post, reply, video or top-level comment that matches your monitor. UmmahSignal deduplicates collected signals so repeated scans do not create another copy of the same item. LinkedIn Page activity is reviewed separately.
How do email alerts work?
Eligible workspaces can configure alerts for permitted signals that need attention. Delivery depends on configured email service, entitlements and source restrictions. YouTube and LinkedIn content is excluded from external distribution. Beta collection runs daily, not continuously.
Can UmmahSignal alert my AI agent when a new mention is found?
Signed webhooks and authenticated API/MCP workflows support permitted workspace activity where your entitlements allow. Source restrictions still apply: YouTube and LinkedIn content cannot flow to external agents, and Reddit AI requires separate approval.
Does UmmahSignal have an API and MCP server?
The REST API, scoped keys, webhooks and MCP workflows are built. Developer access is not included in the current invite-only beta, and MCP is not enabled in production yet. Check MCP / API in your workspace for its current access status.
Do I need to be a developer to connect an AI agent?
The dashboard works without an agent. Supported MCP clients can use the available authenticated connection flow; custom integrations can use scoped API keys. Client compatibility and workspace access still need to be verified.
Does UmmahSignal reply automatically?
No. UmmahSignal finds and organises public signals, but you stay in control. Decide when to reply, investigate, follow up or correct a claim, and respond on the original platform.
Can I track competitors?
Yes. Configure public competitor names, product names and comparison phrases on supported sources. LinkedIn does not offer general competitor keyword search. Do not use monitoring to infer personal religion or other sensitive traits.
Can I try it without a credit card?
Yes. The free, manually approved beta lasts 14 days from invitation acceptance, with one seat, one tracked keyword and up to 100 collected signals. No card, automatic charge or renewal. Collection pauses at expiry or the applicable limit.
Which platforms are live today?
X and YouTube are live for activated beta workspaces, with daily scans and original-source links. YouTube currently supports inbox review only. Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram are coming soon. Each needs the applicable provider access; Facebook and Instagram also require you to connect an authorised account. Your Sources and Connected accounts settings show actual workspace coverage.
Useful intelligence with firm boundaries.
No faith profiling
UmmahSignal is open to every brand and organisation. It never infers or labels an individual’s religion.
No private-message access
Only configured public-source content is within scope.
No autonomous replies
A human decides whether and how the organisation responds.
No religious rulings
The product organises signals; it does not provide spiritual or legal judgement.
What would you like to listen for?
Your organisation, campaign, product or a question your community keeps asking.
